ISSF offers downloadable PDF guidebooks for skippers and observers in several languages. Online guidebooks are in English only.

To complete the continuing education in best practices that ISSF Participating Companies and ProActive Vessel Register-listed vessels require, skippers must:

1. Review the guidebook for their vessel gear type (longline or purse seine) AND
2. Submit the feedback form or completion form at the end of the guidebook. Skippers must submit the form to receive credit for participating.
